Ginger is also known to aid production of serotonin in the body. Serotonin is also referred to as the happy hormone and is related to treating dark mood swings.

Ginger Ale: Some people prefer to consume this natural anti-inflammatory food in the form of a drink which is an equal help, hence an all natural ginger ale or most effective chopped up ginger root in tea can just be the solution you are looking for.

Peppermint: This aromatic leaf is known for its soothing and calming effect. Whether it is fixed in the food, shredded to include in a drink or even doused for essence in room refresher sprays, it never ceases to work its magic. If tummy is bothering you, trying brewing up a cup of peppermint or spearmint tea. Not only the analgesic contents will relieve the pain but the aromatic smell will surely sooth your sense for a complete effect.

Water: It is one of the best tonics known to mankind. Water itself can treat majority of ailments since our body is 3 parts water on its own. Doctors and pediatricians generally recommend consumption of a healthy amount of water up to a minimum of 8 glasses on a daily basis to ward of any ailments even before the onset. Apart of consumption, water can be heated up to put in the hot water bottle and gently put on the abdomen for the most satisfying relieving effect.

However, if the pain does not subsides through any of these suggested home remedies, it would be a good idea to schedule an appointment with the doctor as persisting symptoms could be a hint of something more alarming.
